As I always advise, using a free blog, such as the one provided by blogger.com, has a big set back.
If you want to take blogging seriously you must own your domain name and have the freedom to use your blog the way you feel like.
Apart from the fact that your blog doesn’t look professional with a free blog, any thing can happen and you can lose it without warning. If that happens it means you would have lost your content and the investment of time that you have put into building it.
You cannot sell it if you feel you don’t want to operate it again, because it is technically not yours.
I encourage you to think of owning your own blog, it’s worth it! And our share hosting service has even made it more convenient and affordable to Nigerians, see Hosting Service for details
