Brad Gosse has been operating a verified PayPal account for the past nine years, in fact, he was one of the earliest people to sign up with PayPal when they started operation. Over these years his business had been absolutely legal and had obeyed all their rules. He hadn’t had any problem with them whatsoever.

Then, a couple of days ago, he received a mail from PayPal stating his account had been limited, with thousands of dollars trapped in it without any explanation. He was not contacted or questioned before they limited his account.

For your account to be limited means your account must not have more than $500 for a year. So that meant Brad’s money worth thousands of dollars was gone if he couldn’t reinstate it.

Quickly, he called them up and followed it up, and his account was reinstated to verified position again.

In shock as to how close he was to losing his money with PayPal, he thought he should withdraw part of it to his bank account. So he did just that. But a bigger shocker was awaiting him the following day.

PayPal completely suspended his account for 180 days (six months), again without first contacting him or letting him know why they were taking such action. After calling them up again to find out from them what the problem was, he was told there was unusual fund transfer from his account, and the account remained suspended.

Although Brad was lucky to have moved some of his money to his bank account, and also has other accounts that are not PayPal, he is still distraught because as a big time Internet marketer, he still has several thousands of dollars locked away in the PayPal account. You can read up his story from his site, which I have given at the bottom of this post.

But first, here is the bottom line of this story:

Brad is an A Canadian and operates his business from Ontario, yet he could be treated this way by PayPal. He understood their rules and had obeyed them religiously for nine years, yet he woke up one day to find his PayPal account had be limited, and then totally suspended.

This means everyone should be very careful about using PayPal account. In fact, in recent times PayPal has been notoriously reputed to closing people’s accounts at will without any explanation.

Once they notice large movement of funds in or out of your account, or see you accessing your account from different IP addresses, they wouldn’t try to reach you for explanation, the best they would do is to limit your account, suspend it, or completely ban you. If they limit your account and you cannot reach them or satisfactorily show the proof they will ask of you, there goes your hard-earned money!

My Recommendation

Use other alternative payment solutions to PayPal. It is true that PayPal is perhaps the most widely known online payment solution around today, and with Ebay, which they own, they are monopoly, however, there are also other payment solutions, which are coming up strong, and which you should try using.

If you like a program you want to sign up with as affiliate and they say on their sites it’s by PayPal they make payments, you can send them an email to ask if they wouldn’t pay by other means, like wire transfer or check that may be convenient to you. This is what I do, and a lot of times I get positive responses and I’m able to sign up.

If they insisted it’s only by PayPal they can pay, then try look for their competitors who are willing to accept your payment terms.

This is very important for Nigerians and people from other countries who are not listed by PayPal to use their system. Don’t try to get into PayPal through the backdoor like I’m aware many people are doing by using Chinese, India, etc, addresses to sign up with PayPal. This is like putting banana in a monkey’s mouth for PayPal, which will be happy closing your account and freezing your money.

There are many business opportunities you can do on the Internet without PayPal, therefore the risk of trying to force yourself to use PayPal when they did not list your country is not worth it at all.

If you must use PayPal, be sure not to allow your money with them to amass. In fact, don’t leave more than $500 at a time in your account even if it is verified.

The month of September is the beginning of the last quarter of the year, and there is no better time than now for us to assess our business seriously and see how well we have gone in achieving our goals for the year.

This is a very important exercise you must do, especially as it relates to increasing your finances online. Don’t be afraid to do this exercise, even if you think you haven’t achieved anything tangible. That may not be true because, if for nothing else, you would have gained certain knowledge that could propel you to eventually achieving the goal.

Here are some questions to ask yourself to help you assess how well you have done or are doing to achieving your goal of making money on the Internet.

- How much money did you set to make in a month?

- What Online business model did you choose to use?

- What new things did you learn about the business model, and did you
apply them?

- How long did you apply them – 3, 6, 9 months?

- What are the biggest challenges to achieving your goal?

- How have you tried solving them, and where you able to surmount them?

- How are you promoting the business?

- How much is your monthly budget for your business?

- How much time do you give your business daily, weekly, and monthly?

- Have you made any money from the business model?

- If no, why do you think you haven’t made any money?

- Do you have any mentor who has accomplished what you want to achieve?

- Have you discovered the strategies he/she is using?

- Have you applied it too to your business?

- If you have made some money, how much?

- How was the money made?

- Are you doing more of what made you money?

These questions will enable you to really assess how you are doing in your online money making venture. It will make clear to you where you have failed, and where to correct. And at the end of it, you will be put back on track, and motivated to achieving your goal.

One thing that will be obvious to lots of people who haven’t made much from the Internet as they go through the questions above is that they have not chosen a business model to follow to achieving the amount of money they want to achieve online. Where they choose one at the beginning of the year, they didn’t stay on it for long.

This is very important, please take note: You cannot achieve anything tangible on the Internet without being focused on a particle model for a minimum of six months. You will have to be consistent at it day-in, day-out, learning and applying new strategies, and tweaking it until result start showing.

What the law is saying is that, to be able to make money, you must choose a subject to set up your blog or website on, which must have appreciable number of people interested in it. They should also have a good record of spending money, and the level of competition in the industry should be low.

It is at this foundational stage that a lot of new comers to the Internet miss it. Perhaps, it is as a result of the misinformation they got from certain sources that they could set up blogs or websites on the area of their passion, and they would be able to make money from it.

This is true, but to an extent. If the subject you are passionate about shows that a large volume of people are interested in it, and these people actually spend money in the industry, then that would be a great subject to set a blog or website on.

But, if the subject does not draw the interest of more than a handful of people, then it would be a waste to invest your time and energy in it because it would never make money. Money is made from people who are interested in your subject, and the larger their number, the more the chance of making money from their patronage.

Therefore, the first thing you should do before starting a website or blog is to do some research to know if your area of passion has good volume of interested people, and if they spend money, as well as if the level of competition in the industry is low.

This is how to do the research.

Log on to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, type in the subject you have in mind, for instance, golf training, then click enter.

The software comes out with the result as shown below.

This shows the level of searches made the previous month, and the average global monthly searches made in the last 12 months. You can also see the level of competition in the industry. The result also include related keywords to golf training, e.g., golf training aids, and golf swing training.

To get the above statistical result in terms of numbers, what you should do is to highlight the result page, then copy and paste it in a notepad. The statistical result for golf training is shown in a notepad below.

Now you can see the actual number of searches for golf training last month 201,000, and the average monthly searches in the last 12 months 135,000.

And also, very importantly, you can see how much people are bidding on the keyword golf training $2.03. What that means is that at the time I wrote this article, the average amount of money advertisers are paying per click when anyone clicks on their advert on this keyword is $2.03.

This is big money to spend on one click, so if there were 100 clicks on their adverts in a day, they would be paying $203.

What this implies is that people who are interested in golf training are money spenders. For someone to be paying $2.03 for a click on his or her advert means that that person knows he or she will make back the money together with profit from his or her target market – those looking for golf training.

And that is possible because those looking for golf training are people who are not just looking for free stuff, but are prepared to buy things relating to golf training.

This is how you can find out about the subject you want to get into first before setting out. Generally, keywords with average bidding of $0.50 and above will be profitable subjects to set up blogs or websites on, and of course, the higher the average bidding, the greater the money that can be made from that industry.

And when you combine the average bidding on the keyword with the average monthly search volume in the last 12 months, you will have a clear picture of what the industry looks like in terms of profitability.

Looking at the average monthly search volume for golf training, which is 135,000 and the bidding per click of $2.03, it means that the subject, golf training, is profitable.

But note that if the monthly volume of searches for the keyword is high, as well as the average bid on it, the possibility of stiff competition in that industry will be high too.

Therefore, in choosing a subject for your blog or website, you don’t only consider the search volume and average bid on it, but also the level of competition in the industry.

This is important if you hope to gain free traffic from search engines such as google and yahoo.

If the competition is very high, it would be extremely difficult for a newbie to compete with the established gurus who may have optimized their sites strongly for the search engines and ranking very highly.

However, you can still go ahead if you wish, to compete with the big guns, but you should be prepared to make serious investment in certain tools and materials, and patiently build your site.

But this is not the best way to go about having a money making site as a beginner, there is an easier way to achieving your goal of making money with blogs or websites even if strong competition exist in your subject area.

The best thing to do is to look within the industry for a niche that is not too competitive, but that has appreciable search volume and bidding level. With such a niche, you could still make money with your site without the danger of been crushed by heavy competition.

In fact, if you could pick a great niche, in terms of low competition, high search volume, and high bid level, and build your blog or website continually over time, you could become the niche leader, taking in much of the organic traffic from search engines to that niche, which could run into hundreds of thousands every month, and making the most money in the industry.

These are the pages the search engine could find in the entire worldwide web that have the words, “golf training” in them. This number is an indication of competition, but don’t panic, it is not a strong determinant of competition or whether your site can make money or not.

Here is how to know how strong the competition is, and if your website or blog could ever come up in good position on the major search engines, and take in huge traffic, which would therefore enable you to make money.

Individually, take the websites that appear on the first page to http://whois.domaintools.com. Copy and paste their URL in the search box, and click the “Lookup” button.

Some of the information whois.domaintools.com will provide you about the websites are their degree of search engine optimization (SEO), Alexa page rake, and inbounds links. To see their Google page rank, if you don’t have the tool on your browser, you can use the website: www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php

If all or most of the first ten web pages from google search result have very high degree of SEO (from 85 upwards), page rank (from 5 upwards), and hundreds of inbound or incoming links, it means the competition is extremely tough and there may not be any chance for a new site to come up on the first page of google when anyone searches for its keyword.

So, if you find your subject in such competition, you shouldn’t go ahead to set up a site on it if you desire traffic from the search engines (even if the subject is highly profitable) because you may never get it.

You will have to look for a less competitive niche, where the first web pages on google search result are page rank 3 or 4 and below, less degree of SEO, and not much incoming links.

However, if you plan to source traffic from other sources and not from the search engines or Pay Per Click, PPC, then you can go ahead to set up your site in a profitable subject, even if competition is strong – you will not be competing with them anymore.

At Commission Junction, we have statistics like Earning Per Click (EPC), and Network Earnings to give you an idea of how much the product is selling. A product with high EPC and Network Earnings also suggest it is a good sellable products – if people are already selling it, you too!

At Amazon, you could actually search for top selling products in any product category and get a list of the top selling products in order of their sales.

Generally, you have statistics about the performance of products, such as the ones above, including their Conversion Rate, to gauge the selling potential of any product.

But, I must be quick to say that you shouldn’t base your choice of product to promote solely on its high sellable statistics that you got from the affiliate centers.

The reason is that if the product is top selling, the chance that competition would have built up so strong is there. For instance, if a lot of people are promoting it using PPC, the level of bidding for its keywords would have gone up, beyond what you can afford to compete favorable.

Those that started promoting it newly and have made lots of money from it can afford to bid very highly for its keyword, and therefore get more traffic to their sites, and of course make more sales and more money. If you are just coming in you may find yourself caught in a fierce competition, and you may not have the money to face them eyeball-to-eyeball, shoulder-to-shoulder.

This is how many new comers to the PPC game lose money. They find a top-selling product at an affiliate center, and off they go to set up PPC campaign, without much understanding of how PPC works.

Before long they would discover they are either not having clicks or there are clicks on their adwords, but the clicks are not converting, that is, people who are clicking on the adverts are not going ahead to make order for the product. Therefore, while they are paying Google (if they are using Google Adword), they are not making any commission because they are not selling. That, of course, is a loss.

The simple reason for getting into this position is that the amount of money the marketer is biding on the high converting keywords (these are keywords that people that are more likely to make purchase use) is not enough to get his or her adwords exposed to people who may likely buy.

In a nutshell, the marketer’s adwords are only seen by people who are either looking for information or just “window-shopping”. They will click on the adverts without any intention to buy.

It is therefore not a good strategy to pick a product to promote just because it is a top selling product on ClickBank, CJ, or other centers. Most of the time, if not in all cases, products that have been identified as top selling at the affiliate centers are usually very competitive to sell.

Even if you decide to use search engine traffic to sell it, you may discover a tough competition there too, so much that unless you know search engine optimization and are able to optimize your site strongly, your site may never come near the first page on the search engines.

Experienced marketers, who have money to spend, would have secured the services of search engine optimization experts to strongly optimize their sites to a high page rank, so that whenever anyone makes a search for their keywords, their sites would be on the first page. They would have also made their sites highly professional with the ability to convert strongly.

The consequence of this is that it will be extremely difficult for you to displace these sites from their top positions on the search engines. If you want to try, you should be prepared to know deep search engine optimization strategies to apply on your site, and you should be willing to put in some months of work to build it to the level it could compete favorably with the old sites.

The better way to choose a profitable product to sell is to research an industry and find a niche that has good search volume as well as high potential to make purchase. You should also check the level of competition in the niche, and if it’s not high, you could be sure of making money in it. You could then go to any of the affiliate centers to find a product that solves an identifiable problem in that niche to promote.

And the good thing is that there are lots of profitable niches that have not been exploited yet. All you have to do is to find them.

And talking about been an affiliate marketer using your blog, there are different strategies you can use to continually promote different products and making money, which I want to treat here.

But before I go on, let me point out a very important fact about making success of affiliate marking business, which many marketers I’ve seen don’t heed to, and so never make any affiliate commission through their blogs.

You must choose affiliate products that are relevant to your blog’s subject to promote. And your blog should be focused on a particular subject, and not on general topics for search engines to easily find it, as well as for your visitors to quickly see you as an expert in an area.

In fact, this is the biggest advantage of blogging. As you build up your blog, you are increasing the perception your visitors and readers are having about your expertise, and because people are more relaxed relating with experts, it becomes easy for them to follow your recommendation on a product, and use your affiliate link to buy it.

Having established that very important fact about achieving success in making money with your blog promoting affiliate products, I will now move on to discuss the how to effectively promote your affiliate products on your blog.

There are different strategies or ways by which you can expose your affiliate products to visitors to your blog and get them placing order. These include:

Displaying the Product’s Banner

You can obtain a banner ad from the owners of the product you desire to promote to use in promoting it. Most product owners usually have professionally designed, attractive banners of different formats, designs, and sizes you can place on your site when you sign up with them.

All you need to do to get a banner to show on your blog is to copy the banner’s code, which will contain your affiliate ID and paste it where you want it to appear on your blog.

When visitors to your blog click on it, they are taken to the landing page of the product, and if they bought the product, you make some money as commission.

Displaying the Product’s Text Link

A text link is a promotional material like banners, containing your affiliate ID and through which your visitors will be taken to the landing page of the product when they click on it. The major difference between text links and banner links is that ad messages in text links are in form of texts or wordings; while in banner links the ad message is in form of graphics.

Comparing the effectiveness of the two, text links are generally believed to be better in compelling someone to click on the ad. Although I haven’t personally done an extensive test on this, however, from close observation I have received more clicks on my text links than banners, and I think this belief is right.

The reason why people would click on text links more than banners is that people usually associate banners to advertising, so when they see banners, their minds immediately turn up a picture of somebody trying to sell something to them, and since they don’t usually love to part with their money, they may resist the temptation of clicking the ad.

But in the case of text ads, since the message is in wordings, they appear as information, rather than adverts. And because people usually love to have information, they will likely click on it.

However, this does not mean you should only use text ads on your blog or site, no; you can use the two skillfully at different locations without appearing desperate to get the visitor’s clicks. Also, you can test which one works better for your blog and probably stick to it.

Before I go to the next strategy, again let me point out another thing that could strongly affect the success of your affiliate marketing on your blog.

Don’t crowd your blog with adverts. A lot of newbies usually fall into this error, I was too when I was starting out hunting for genuine money on the Internet. The wrong thinking is that if visitors are hit everywhere they turn to on the blog then they will surely click on one.

Like I said before, this is a thinking that has been proved to be wrong. People primarily visit blogs for the articles to get information. When they find good information on your blog, they will stay longer, and relaxed. They would therefore be in a good mood to buy something.

By rushing them with adverts as they log into your blog, instead of contents, only unsettles their minds, making them want to get out fast.

If you have several products you are promoting, instead of displaying all their banners and text ads on your blog, you can put many of them in a page you can title “Recommended Resources”, with a link from the side bar. Your visitors will see this link and some will click on it to see the product there. They will have already known that the products are for sale, and so would be more likely to buy them, without feeling someone was goading them to buy.

Using Links in Articles and Comment Posts

This is probably the most effective way of promoting affiliate products on your blog. It involves writing a very good article with lots of information the reader can use and then citing the product you are promoting as a solution to a highlighted problem, which the reader may consider using. You will put the link to the product at the appropriate place in the article.

But mind you, the article must highlight a problem or need, and the product you are promoting must be a possible solution to the problem. In this way, the reader will be grateful for the information and for showing him or her a way out, and they will more than likely click on the link, and the chance of making order for the product is also high.

Before I go into how to create ebooks, I think I should explain what ebooks are because I understand that a lot of my readers are new to the Internet, and may not know what ebooks are. For my other readers who are experienced Internet users, I apologize for taking you a bit backward.

Ebook stands for electronic book. When we say ebooks, we mean you have written the book in MS Word, Core Draw or any other software, just as you would normally do to get a book published. Then you convert it to PDF format. It is the conversion to PDF that makes it an ebook.

It is necessary for the book to be in PDF format so that its formatting and layout stay intact when the book is transferred from one computer to another, unlike if the book was in MS Word, where its fonts could change or become unreadable in another computer. As a PDF ebook, it can be read anywhere in the world just as it was written, formatted, and laid-out in PDF.

Now back to how can we convert a book to PDF.

There are two possible ways by which you can convert the book to pdf: using free means or using paid-for software.

Using free means:

You can convert your book to an ebook for free by planning the book on Core Drawl or other publishing software that allow you to use “save as” command to save the book as an a PDF document.

Another way you can convert your book to ebook is by using the free service of an online company, http://www.freepdfconvert.com. You will be able to upload your book onto their server, and after some minutes, your book would have been converted to a PDF, which you can download.

Those are ways to convert your book to ebook for free, however, there are some shortcomings in taking those routes. I will explain.

Apart from the fact that the above free methods do not give you a high quality ebook, in terms of the sharpness and formatting of the book, its weakest defect is that you cannot secure the book.

You will not be able to password it so that unauthorized people cannot open it, copy it or print it out.

I think it doesn’t really make sense for anyone to work so hard creating a book only to leave it unprotected by using free ebook converters. If you must write or create an ebook, you must protect it from information thieves prowling around the Internet.

Studies have shown that a lot of ebook publishers lose more than 78% of their income to these thieves annually. These are ebook creators who are ignorant about the possibility of someone stealing their content, and so did not secure their books.

This brings me to the second method of creating ebooks.

Using Paid Means:

This is by using paid-for software to make or create professionally looking ebooks, with crisp, cleaner, and clearer pages, and with the opportunity to secure them by pass wording them so that people don’t read, copy or print them out without your consent.

It is true that many of these kind of software are on the high side in price, which could be why many new comers to ebook publishing usually take the risk of going ahead to use the free method. With their prices reaching $97, it is no surprise that not a few fresh ebook creators will be compelled to go the dangerous route of making their ebooks.

Forgive me for this if you are one of these sets of my esteemed readers, I will now explain what blogs are.

A blog is a content management system. A content management system means that you can publish your articles, pictures (or images), videos, and audios, edit them, add links, and do other things, and have them displayed on the Internet by a click for people to read or view.

A blog enables you to publish whatever you want on the Internet without needing to have knowledge of HTML or how to design and run websites, to be able to do so. Before blogs were invented, you would need websites if you desired to publish contents on the Internet, but now ordinary folks have become online publishers using blogs.

Blogs are very easy and simple to use and edit. All you need to do is to log in to your blog after you have set it up with your user name and password, and from your dashboard you will find the different links to where you will be able to edit anything, post your articles, insert pictures, codes, etc that you want to show. Everything is done from one spot, and that’s why it is a system that manages web contents.

There are different platforms, which provide blogs for people to use for free. These include WordPress, b2evolution, and nucleus. Of these, WordPress is widely acclaimed to be the best.

They have thousands of free themes and plugins people can use to make their blogs highly functional and professionally looking. I will explain what themes, plugins and widgets are:

Themes: as used in blogging, themes are the different designs and looks of blogs. WordPress provides thousands of free themes you can customize and use.

Plugins: plugins are small pieces of software created to provide additional functionality to blogs. For instance, you can install a plugin that allows pictures of visitors to your blog who make comments on your posts to show as I have on this blog.

In their sales letters they make very big claims and quote mouth-watering sums of money, in dollar for that matter that anyone who subscribes to their products would make. They pack their sales letters full with hype to ensure that no one could resist it.

Of course not many people can resist an offer like been able to immediately start making $1000 a week on adsense with a blog or website.

By the time you do the simple multiplication, that comes up to nothing less than $4,000. And when you go further to convert it to Naira, at the present exchange rate of about N170 to a dollar, that would mean about N680, 000 would be piling up in your account every month.

That’s not all, the offer is further spiced by telling you that you will not spend any money aside from what you will buy the product with, that you can use a free blog and free contents to be making the money.

I see a lot of this kind of sales letters and my heart cringes with pity for the unsuspecting target. It is unfortunate that so many Internet marketers think if they didn’t entice their target with over exaggerated picture of what is possible, they will not release money to buy their product, which they need so desperately.

They know lots of people are in difficult financial state, and so will immediately buy anything that they think could get them out of it NOW – they cannot wait till tomorrow; they need the money to start pouring in immediately.

They also know that a lot of people don’t like the idea of working. So they tell them not to worry, that working is not part of the process of making the money they are promising them, that all they need is their product.

But this is terrible! I consider it a scam, and have vowed never to use such tactics to sell my products. I believe people should be given the real picture so that they would know exactly what they are going into and make their decision. I don’t think I have to arm twist anyone to buy my products. I’ll tell you exactly what you should expect, if you like it fine, if you don’t so be it.

Now this is what will happen to an average person who is new to the Internet, and wants to make money really fast, and who reads the sales letter that tells him he would start making $1000 in a week immediately he gets the product.

He will quickly purchase it, and set up a free blog. He will find a free article from a free article directory site and post it on the blog, rush to Google for its adsense code, and paste it on his blog.

He will then start waiting for the money to start showing up in hundreds of dollars as the day goes by. But as weeks turn into months, he sees nothing in his Adsense account. Then he becomes frustrated and starts clicking the Adsense himself, only to fall under the hammer of Google and get banned.

Before that experience dies down, he reads another sales letter from another person he thinks is a guru, promising that if he gets his material he would be able to make $10, 000 in a month in PPC affiliate marketing. He wouldn’t need a website to achieve this, neither would he need any experience. Again, all he needs is the marketer’s product.

Quickly, he gets the product, hoping that by the time he makes the first $10,000 everything will fall in place in his life. But after going through the scanty guide, and implementing it, instead of making money, he is actually losing it.

He packed it up, and goes for one or two more quick-money-making schemes online that flashed across his eyes. Again, there was no success. Now he is certain, it is not possible to make money online, that all the talk about making money on the Internet are lies. So he has decided to stay away from the Internet and find something else in the physical world to do.

Has this ever happened to you? Can you relate with the experience of the man above? Have you bought a number of information products promising their system will be making money for you like a damaged ATM machine, while at the end of the day it is your pocket that got damaged?

If you are, I can sense you asking me now, “Is it really possible to make money online?”

My answer is YES! It is possible to make $1000 and even more than that weekly from adsense, and it is possible to make $10,000 and more monthly from PPC affiliate marketing, but it doesn’t happen overnight.

For new comers to the Internet, it is not possible for them to be able to make such money. Like in any business, whether online or offline, you need to build it up to a level that its income will soar.

If you build your blog or website to a level that it start getting hundreds of thousands, or even millions of visitors monthly, you would be literary swimming in money, then you would definitely make more than $1000 in revenue weekly from that blog or website.

The same goes for PPC Affiliate marketing, and other genuine money making opportunities online. If you can take the time to learn how they work and gradually build the business up, you would surely start making huge profits.

My advise to you my dear reader is, don’t give up on your dream of making money online. The Internet remains the best place today for anyone to have a business with the greatest profit potential worldwide.

Think about it, with a blog or website for instance, you are already in business. Yes, you heard me right. If you set up a blog today it means you have started a business – your blogging activities are your business.

When you consider the capital you would need to set up and run a physical business compared to what it cost to set up a blog or website, you will agree with me that the Internet is a blessing to our generation, not to mention the global market place that it gives you access to.

You shouldn’t allow the negative experience you got in the hands of some marketers to cause you to throw away the baby with the bathwater. There is great money to be made on the Internet, and you can find your financial freedom from it!

Dust yourself up; consider what you have spent without result as a learning experience, which most newbies to the Internet go through. I have lost money too to scam artists hen I was starting out, so you are not alone in this experience. Don’t allow it to cause you to give up, rather it should motivate you to wanting to learn all there is to making money from the online business of your choice.

If you desire to be part of those making money online, take these two steps:

One, be focused. You may have heard this before and didn’t quite take it serious, but now you really have to. There will always be loads of different money making opportunities marketers will be presenting to you from time to time. They will be so tempting that if you don’t hold yourself, you will find yourself moving from one online business to another.

And at the end of the day, you will have dissipated your energy, time and money without anything to show for it. To achieve success in making money online, you have to decide on a business opportunity you want to do, and then focus your time, energy, and money in building it. Concentrate on it squarely for at least six months, learning and implementing success strategies on it, before adding another business opportunity to it.

Two, get a coach. It’s way better to get somebody who is experienced, with proven knowledge of the business to coach you, than to buy an e-book, which you may not be able to implement. Beside, the e-book might even be a free introductory copy of the course, which the seller got.

Instead of groping in the dark, trying to decipher how the business works, a coach will put you right on track for success.

In my Blogging For Millions Classroom, where I give one-on-one training online on making money with blogs, almost all my students would have chosen the wrong subject for their blogs if they were to do it themselves.

This is the foundation of success in blogging. What so many would-be bloggers don’t know is that they have to first of all research keywords to be sure there are enough people who are interested in the subject they have in mind before starting their blogs. From there they will use the keywords in the name of their blogs in such a way that it would be attractive to the search engines.

If you miss this basic foundational step, you may never be able to make money from blogging.

Again, I must emphasize the importance of been under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced coach who is accessible and passionate about helping others achieve success.

Though you may not start making the money immediately, however, with a coach leading you, you are sure your business will be positioned aright and you will be able to learn a great deal about the business than you may never have been able to learn in 10 e-books.
