What New Bloggers Should Avoid To Make Money From Their Blogs

You might have been motivated to set up a blog and start blogging because of the money you were told is possible to be made. You may have heard of some bloggers making over $40, 000 dollars from a single blog monthly – that’s certainly a lot of money!

But what you have to know, which is the truth is that it takes some time and efforts to get such blogs to making such money- yes, it is very possible to make that kind of money, however, it doesn’t come that quickly, even though some marketers would desperately want us to believe it does so we can easily release our money to purchase their products.

I have identified a number of things beginners to blogging usually do, which could get them discouraged to give up their dream of making money on the Internet. And I want to share them with you so you can avoid them.

Stop Checking Your Google Adsense Account Frequently To See How Much Money You Are Making. I think all new bloggers, I should say, are guilty of this? As a matter of fact, every new blogger that I know always go checking out their Google Adsense the moment they have created an Adsense account and have made a post.

In fact, a friend of mine was telling me some time ago how someone he newly helped to install a blog and given some tutorials on how to make money with it by using Adsense called him up on phone a few days later to complain that he hadn’t seen any money in his Adsense account.

Now when my friend checked out the blog he was shocked to find that this fellow had not posted any article on the blog. The only articles there were a few free articles he helped him to post to get Google’s approval for an Adsense account.

Money is not made that way, even on the Internet. An effort has to be applied over a considerable length of time.

If you want to have the online money making experience with blogs, you have to clear you mind from the wrong impression that you will begin making money immediately your blog is up. I do not see how that is possible legally and I tell my students to immediately wipe out such ideas from their minds, and get set for the work that would produce the money.

It is this wrong mindset about making money online with blogs that keeps new bloggers checking their Adsense account or affiliate products account every hour, hoping they would find tons of money there. And when they do not see money in it, some of them get frustrated and begin clicking their Adsense themselves or ask their friends to do it for them. And of course they always end up been banned by Google.

Friend, if you are new to blogging, you have to see it as a long term affair. You are now a publisher of a daily magazine. Publications, whether they are online or offline, usually require some time to catch on with their target audience, and blogging is not different.

It is after a publication has been accepted by its readership that the owners can begin to make money from it. And before that time comes, the publication would have published hundreds of articles or stories, not just one or two.

Therefore, for your blog to be successful and to get to the level of making thousands of dollars for you monthly, you have to take away your eyes for some time from your Adsense account and concentrate first on building it by posting quality articles in it. And that brings me to another thing new bloggers should not do in their quest to make money online with blogs.

Don’t Use Free Or PLR Aricles Wrongly. Again, some marketers in desperate mood to offload their products on us and kick out money from our pockets will tell us that with their free articles or Private Label Right articles we don’t need to border ourselves about writing articles for our blogs. All we have to do according to them is to be posting their articles on our blogs and the money will start rolling in for us.

This is not completely true. Free articles or PLR articles that relate to the topic of our blogs are good to use, but not in the way those marketers say it.

You will definitely need to rewrite those articles before posting them on your blog if you are building a money making blog. Why? I will explain.

The reason is that you are not the only one who may have bought those articles. Thousands of websites may already have them posted on their pages, therefore if you also post them on your blog they will not count for your search engine ranking, because search engines recognise the site that has them posted first.

And when your site doesn’t count much on the search engine, it means you will be losing traffic from the biggest and free source of traffic – the search engines.

Another reason it is not wise to post free articles or PLR articles the way they were written is that it will not make you look an expert in the eyes of your readers. And that may seriously limit your ability to make money with your blog.

People are generally comfortable reading from experts and using the services or products they recommend. Developing expert’s status with your blog is important to making good money online with your blog.

Don’t Spend All Your Time Chasing After Traffic. A lot of beginners to blogging usually flag off their blogging activities by looking for traffic to their blogs. This push is also because they want to start seeing money in their Adsense or affiliate account immediately.

It is okay to get traffic to your blog and be able to make money from visitors in one way or the other, but that shouldn’t be your priority. At the beginning of a blog or website, the major thing the owner should be concerned about is building the blog or website with valuable contents.

If you spend all your time trying to bring in traffic and no time to write articles for the blog, what will your visitors read when they come? They will seemly leave as fast as they came, and that’s wasted effort.

There is time for everything, at the start of your blogging career don’t be anxious about making money with your blog, but see it as the time to build it with quality articles for your readers. That’s how the money is made on the long run.
